ABOUT ME
My name is Rhetta Akamatsu. I am a paralegal, an online researcher, and a freelance writer with a strong interest in the paranormal. I have had many experiences of my own, which you can read about here:
I have published a paranormal handbook called Ghost to Coast, containing the directories of ghost tours and haunted hotels on these pages, but in print so you can carry them with you! It also contains articles and illustrations and will be an excellent resource book for anyone interested in ghost hunting, ghost tours, or the paranormal in general. Get it here:

A new edition will be out soon, which features the updated ghost tour information for each state, with more details about the tours, plus articles about haunted locations in every state! Tentatively, it is titled "Ghost to Coast Tours and Haunted Locations," and it should be out by early November.
I am also a member of Ghost Hounds, one of the largest paranormal investigation groups in the country, headed by Patrick Burns, of Court TV's Haunting Evidence. Read about Ghost Hounds here:
In addition , I am now the Assistant Editor/Editor in training for ParaNexus Journal of Paranormal Research. You can learn more about ParaNexus and subscribe to the Journal and newsletter here.

I am very interested in hearing your stories, if they are related to ghost tours or paranormal investigations by reputable groups. And I would love to have photos related to either tours or groups. Send them to:

If you have a group and would like to be included on the page, please feel free to email me with your information. I am going to be expanding these pages into a book soon, so if you want to be included, or you're on here and for some reason you want to be removed, please let me know!
You can also get your official Ghost to Coast t-shirt, with artwork by my daughter, whose art name is Bettie Warhol:

P.S. I also have a book out that has nothing to do with ghosts, called T'ain't Nobody's Business If I Do, and it's about female blues singers of the past and present! It's available exclusively at Amazon.com right now.
