Allegedly, Mary died of pneumonia in that room, while waiting for her fiance' to return
from the gold fields.

Has a history of its ghost on its website. Most sightings have been of
a headless apparition in the basement. No one seems to know who he
might be, but with its Wild West history, the Gadsden could host any number
of ghosts.

According to the website, in 1928 a 22-year-old woman named Leone Jansen
commited suicide over a bellboy at a nearby hotel. Since then, she has been seen
as a "white cloud of a woman's figure, accompanied by unexplainable breezes."
There are also the ghosts of three young boys, who run about the hotel halls. Children
are heard laughing, as well. The hotel was built on the site of an old schoolhouse, and the
old school well is still operating in the basement of the hotel.

moment, below.) They say it may be America's most haunted resort hotel.

He occupied room 15 for many years, and still does, some say. He
was a very tidy man, and does not like clutter. If things are piled on the
dresser or elsewhere, he will generally sweep it onto the floor. He also turns the
lights and water on and off.

Yes, the Queen Mary is a hotel, and famously haunted. There are no
ghost stories on the website, but there are frequent paranormal events
onboard.

the owners say they have seen a man watching them as they
work. Pictures have confirmed that it is the ghost of the original
owner of the farm.

Delaware hotels are not bragging about their ghosts. Despite by best efforts, I can find nothing.

According to the website, during the early days of the 20th century when it was illegal to import alcoholic beverages,
the widow who was the proprietor of the Casablanca not only engaged in bootlegging, but took one of the brigands
bringing in contraband alcohol as a lover. At night, if the G-men were in town,she would climb to the roof of the Inn
and wave her lantern to tell the smugglers to pass on by. Today, many people still see the light of the lantern and
some claim to have seen the dark shadow of the lady as well.

When my husband and I took the Jekyll Island historical tour, we were told of the Jekyll Island Club hotel ghost, who
often reads guests' newspapers and drinks their coffee if they leave it sitting on the table.

Anna Powers fell in love with a seaman who was married to someone else, and when he sailed away, she allegedly threw herself from the third floor balcony to her death. Since then, she seems to still haunt the inn, and especially room 204. The story is on the website.

According to several Internet websites, the Hilton Hawaiian Village is haunted by a beautiful woman in a red dress.
Some people claim that she is the apparition of the Island volcano goddess, Pele. The hotel's website has no mention of her, however, so use caution in inquiring.

The Blue Lady at Story Inn has been seen and experienced by guests for many years. On the website, the owners share some of the entries logged in the guestbook relating to her. She is believed to have been one of the wives of the original owner of the inn, Dr. George Story. There is a remarkable picture on the website as well, of a face in a window of the inn, which was empty at the time.

While the site does not go into detail about the inn's ghosts, it does advertise a ghost walk which features the inn and it hosts ghost-hunting classes. Since the in was built in 1844 and used as part of the underground railroad, it should have its share of interesting stories.

It is a very old former stagecoach inn, and was the site of a tragic fire in the 1990's.

In its history, the Seelbach Hilton tells the story of the lady in blue. Her name was Patricia Wilson, and she fell down an elevator shaft and died in 1936. She was despondent over her husband, from whom she had been separated for over a year, legend says. She was seen by two employees in 1987, and there have been numerous other sightings.
